It is a stunning afternoon here at School. The School site looks beautiful today, bathed in sunshine with hardly a cloud in the sky. Sunrises and sunsets have also been breath taking; I wonder how many more days we can have like this as the winter progresses.

Indoor Hockey Success

Over the Christmas break, several of our pupils competed at the Indoor Hockey UK Championships. This is a tournament ran independently of England Hockey, aiming to give more athletes a taste of Indoor Hockey, in a highly competitive environment.

Confidence is Cool

Our Year 3 children have been boosting their confidence in P4L. They have been nurturing their self-esteem by identifying what makes them unique and special. The children described confidence as a feeling, using words such as: doing things for yourself, being brave, not being nervous, kind and helpful.

Our Year 6 pupils have been studying the Kingdom of Benin in their Humanities topic and have been investigating aspects of the religion of the people from that time. They learnt about why the people of Benin were Animists, which means that they believed that animals have a soul and worshipped animals as if they were gods.
