1st XI Hockey Success

Thursday 17th November saw the 1st XI girls play Kent College Canterbury (KCC), in their final home game of the term.  The match provided the 1st XI an opportunity for redemption, having lost to KCC on penalties in the cup at the start of the season.  SV started strong, showing real intent to get forward in numbers at any opportunity.

On Tuesday, a selection of GCSE and A-level Art students were invited to participate in a morning of vibrant, artistic fun. Students that are focusing on the figure, form and atmospheric light for their Personal Projects took part in a neon life drawing and Photography class.

I suspect, like us at home this week, your washing machines have been working overtime with soaking and muddy games kit. As wonderful as it is that students get the opportunity to be outdoors and have fun (all the way from our very youngest in Forest School at SVPS, right up to the NCOs in the CCF) I know the impact on laundry management! Let’s hope for a slightly less soggy weekend and week ahead.
