On Saturday, Max Chapman (Third Form) attended the LERSA Race Series London and South East Regionals, achieving incredible first place in his U14 races. Max won the U14 category for the whole summer dry slope season in the London and South East region.

Food Bank Volunteers

This week, Alice Chew, Johanna Meyer and Savannah Taylor (all Lower Sixth) started their volunteering placement at the Salvation Army in Maidstone. Savannah had previously worked with Mr Matt Jones and Clothworkers' House to set up an appeal for donations, meanwhile, Mr Shuttleworth is also currently doing an appeal with Lambe’s House.

Monologue Performance Evening

Monday saw the IGCSE Drama class perform the last of their coursework pieces. The evening consisted of a series of monologues from a variety of different plays, ranging from Ancient Greek theatre to the present day, which were presented with slick professionalism to a delighted audience of family and friends.

Lord Lieutenant of Kent Awards

This week saw Major Millbery, CCF Contingent Commander, attend the Lord Lieutenant of Kent Awards to honour Major Prem Ale, our CCF Adjutant. Each recipient of the Lord-Lieutenant’s Certificates for Meritorious Service marches to stand next to the Lord Lieutenant of Kent, The Lady Colgrain, whilst a citation, detailing reasons for the award, is read.
