An annual end of term tradition, this year’s whole School Baton Race was won by Holdgate for Seniors, Founder’s for Inters and Lambe’s for the Juniors. “Who is that fierce lady?” asked Year 2, as they approached their Viking workshop. We found out later that her name was Scar and that was for a very good reason! The Year 2 children were transported back in time to row a Viking Longboat, handle some Viking artefacts and find out about Viking rituals. What an exciting way to kick start our learning about the Vikings!
