Children in Year 1 have been exploring tally charts in creative and exciting ways. They have been working together and using their knowledge and skills from their ICT lessons to problem solve.
They continued learning about tally charts by tasting porridge. They each tasted three different porridges and recorded individually whether they liked or disliked the porridge with tally marks. They then interpreted the data collected from the class and answered related problem-solving questions. It was a great way to put into practice what they had been learning about reading and writing tally marks throughout the week and was so much fun!
