In his prefect piece, Finlay B (Year 6) talks about his love for Chelsea Football Club and their performance in the Premier League.

My name is Finlay and I am lucky enough to be a prefect this term at SVPS. I love football and my favourite team is Chelsea Football Club – a team that is not doing very well at the moment, currently tenth in the Premier League. The club has just spent a record 300 million pounds in the January transfer window so I am hoping that this can help the team to improve.

My favourite players at Chelsea FC are Reece James, right-back, and Mason Mount, central attacking midfielder – they both came up through the academy. I would one day want to be able to follow in their footsteps but for now, I will stick to playing for my local team, Bearsted Football Club.
