Headmaster’s Headlines – 27.05.22

Senior School
27 May 22

And so we reach the end of another Half Term and I am sure that all the students and staff will very much welcome a break to recharge their batteries. Reflecting on the last few weeks, I sense we have seen the best of our community in many ways. Today, the Upper Sixth had a great deal of fun with their Celebration Day and they all enjoyed a rousing rendition of Jerusalem at the end of Headmaster’s Assembly. We wish them (and indeed all of the Fifth Form) the very best of luck for the remainder of their examinations.

I enjoyed attending the Juniors’ Jubilee tea party yesterday and this evening I am looking forward to the SVPSPA event over at the Prep School for their celebrations too. What a lovely way to head into Half Term!

I have written separately to Senior parents today with a summary of the findings of our recent parents’ survey and a final call for Leavers’ Ball tickets; please do take a look at the email which you have been sent. There is a great deal to look forward to in the final part of term and I am sure that we will all be very busy. I look forward to seeing you all in June!
