An annual end of term tradition, this year’s whole School Baton Race was won by Holdgate for Seniors, Founder’s for Inters and Lambe’s for the Juniors. In time honoured fashion, winning Houses were presented with their trophies by the youngest members of the SVS community. 🏃🏽♀️ https://t.co/5Ag0X9o3FF
On Monday, our U8, U9, U10 and U11 Cross Country teams went to Ashford Prep. In glorious sunshine, our pupils had an outstanding afternoon over the very long courses. Every single boy and girl out of the 32 we took came inside the top 20, with many coming inside the top ten!
Six of our pupils won a medal:
1st place – Zeb C
2nd place – Shan H, Barney B and Anna L
3rd place – Zachary G and Lydia H
Four others were also very close to winning medals, finishing 4th in their races. Once the scores were totalled, the SVPS girls came 2nd and SVPS boys came 1st. Therefore, SVPS were crowned overall winners! Awesome team effort everyone!
