The pupils in Years 3 to 6 have been using working walls as part of their learning. Working walls can help pupils by identifying the stages of development they have already covered; they can go back to check their understanding and independently identify the next stages in their learning. The children can self-assess using the wall, this enables us to facilitate the children in their learning journey far more effectively. It helps develop their mathematical language and ensures the pupils can explain their work precisely and fluently. The pupils also really love this way of learning, showing, seeing, explaining and presenting their work.
