We had our first Star Assembly on Tuesday, where 2G won the Courtesy Cup for their fantastic efforts to be excellent role models and to demonstrate to the rest of the School their wonderful manners, kindness and trying their best in all lessons.

We also met our first group of School Council children. The School Council is made up of six Year 2 children. They will meet weekly to discuss new ideas and initiatives. They have a School Council badge so they can be easily identified around the School. Each class will have a box for children to put their ideas in and the committee will meet each week and discuss what has been suggested. At the end of each half term the current School Council children will elect another group so that all children in Year 2 will have had the School Council experience.

Now that our Breakfast club is in the Pre-Prep hall, the internal and external doors are unlocked from 7.30am. If you or your children arrive after 8.00am but before 8.15am and it is raining you can wait in Bates Hall. The internal and external doors will unlock from 8.15am and then lock down again at 8.35am.

Nursery have progress reviews over the next week. Please do make an appointment if you have not done so already and we have a Nursery Curriculum evening on Thursday 24th at 5.00pm, so please join us if you can.

We have decided to add another performance to the Reception nativity this year. We currently have Thursday 8th December, at 2.00pm in the calendar. We are adding Tuesday 6th December, at 9.30am for other family members. You do not have to purchase tickets. Year 1 and 2 will be taking part in a Christingle Service on Tuesday 6th December, at 2.00pm in St Michael’s Church and look forward to welcoming you to the service.
