Headmaster’s Headlines

Senior School
28 Apr 23

This week has certainly flown by once more as we find ourselves in the rhythm of term time. It is always such an interesting time of year with the combination of getting stuck into summer activities (although the downpours have not helped) with the inevitable experience of examinations either starting or on the horizon. Spirits remain high however and the students are doing well supporting and encouraging each other. We had a great Open Day last Saturday and it was lovely to be able to show off the School at its best.

We have a slightly curtailed week next week owing to the Bank Holiday Mondays, so we will need to pack a lot in to the four days. It is lovely to see we will have nearly 200 visitors here on Grandparents’ Day on Tuesday – let’s hope that the sun shines.

We can look forward to some celebrations next Friday to mark the Coronation of King Charles 3rd, including a special Afternoon Tea for the Juniors and a Coronation Assembly for the remainder of the Senior School. A number of families will also be attending the event at the Prep School in the evening.

Best wishes for the Bank Holiday weekend.
