On Tuesday, the TIDE (Team for Inclusion, Diversity and Equality) met to plan upcoming activities to celebrate Pride Month. On Tuesday 23rd of June, pupils will have the opportunity to accessorise their uniform with bright colours as a way of celebrating inclusion and showing that everyone belongs within our community. During Tutor Time, pupils will also learn about the history of Pride and reflect on the importance of respect, understanding and inclusion for all.

The Wellbeing Ambassador team met on Wednesday to finalise preparations for the upcoming Third Form Transition Day. As part of the event, our ambassadors will lead five activity stations linked to our wellbeing framework and the Five Ways to Wellbeing. We are very grateful for the time, creativity, and enthusiasm they are putting into helping make the day a positive experience for our incoming pupils.

Our Fourth Form pupils have now begun exploring future careers as part of their wellbeing curriculum. Our Careers Advisor, Ms Ring, has been guiding pupils to reflect on the skills they may need in the future and the steps they can begin taking now to develop these. This has sparked thoughtful discussions about aspirations and pathways beyond school.

Next week, we will be sharing the results of the recent AWE (Assessing Wellbeing in Education) surveys with pupils. We are pleased to report that overall wellbeing remains stable and broadly positive. Pupils continue to report strong relationships and a sense of belonging. While these outcomes are encouraging, there are still opportunities to further strengthen resilience, self-confidence and healthy lifestyle habits. We look forward to sharing the action points we will be taking forward in these areas.
