Today we celebrated World Book Day with creativity, colour and plenty of reading fun. Pupils from Nursery to Year 6 arrived dressed as their favourite characters and enjoyed a lively Assembly followed by a whole school photo.

Prep pupils took part in the National Literacy Trust’s Great Big Footy and Booky Quiz and explored a range of book‑inspired activities throughout the day. Pre Prep pupils travelled through classrooms themed around different continents, discovering new stories and taking part in creative tasks linked to each one.

Reception to Year 3 also enjoyed a special live reading of Komtu the Grumpy Chameleon by author Tayo Oyetayo, which added extra excitement. It was a brilliant day for all our pupils!
