Isolation Poem

We received this wonderful poem from one of our SVPS pupils, which perfectly encapsulates the strange tension that we are all feeling at the moment:

Isolation

As Spring comes, the virus hits,

The flowers blooming, the virus is spreading,

The sun shines, we all stay at home,

‘How long will we have to be alone?’

We stay as a family, we go for a walk,

Normally after we have done our work,

Riding my bike as fast as the wind,

Going so fast like the virus is spreading,

Riding, riding, not sure where I’m heading,

Whoosh, stop and then it is gone!
