An annual end of term tradition, this year’s whole School Baton Race was won by Holdgate for Seniors, Founder’s for Inters and Lambe’s for the Juniors. As part of Sutton Valence’s partnership with Saracens Rugby, at last Saturday’s Open Morning the European Rugby trophy and Premiership Rugby trophies for both the men’s and women’s game were on show in the School Refectory.
Saracens men’s Rugby team are, of course, the current European and Premiership champions, and the Saracens women’s team are the current Premiership champions.
It was lovely to have all three trophies on display and many Open Morning attendees took full advantage, by having pictures taken with the coveted silverware, even if they were a little heavy!
