The School Day

Every day at Sutton Valence Nursery is shaped to give young children both structure and freedom. Familiar routines help them feel secure while plenty of time is set aside for play discovery and creativity. From the moment they arrive, the day is carefully planned to balance care learning and fun.

Before School

For families who need an earlier start, our Early Riser session opens from 7.30am (incurring a small fee) . It offers a calm friendly beginning to the Nursery day with a nutritious continental breakfast. Afterwards, children enjoy a short period of relaxed supervised play which creates a gentle happy transition into the Nursery morning.

The Nursery Day

We offer flexible sessions to support different family needs:

A typical day is filled with learning through play. Children take part in early phonics fine motor development numeracy creative arts cooking music and imaginative play all guided by caring and experienced teachers.

Nurturing Minds

Food plays an important role in the rhythm of the day. All meals are prepared with fresh produce by our dedicated catering team. At lunchtime, children enjoy a nutritious balanced meal which includes a salad bar, fruit and dessert. Our Nursery is entirely nut free and all dietary requirements are handled with care and attention.
