An annual end of term tradition, this year’s whole School Baton Race was won by Holdgate for Seniors, Founder’s for Inters and Lambe’s for the Juniors. This morning, Year 1 enjoyed a wonderful trip to the SVS Library. Their visit began with a walk over to the Senior School, where an exciting scavenger hunt awaited with favourite storybook characters hidden all around the library.
After the hunt, the children explored the bookshelves with curiosity and enthusiasm. Some even found a cosy corner to settle down with a book in hand. It was a joy to see them so engaged, inspired and excited about reading.
