Wellbeing Tip of the Week:
Small habits, practiced consistently, have the power to create big change. Choose one small act of self-care to focus on this week.
It has been a pleasure to welcome your sons and daughters back to School this week.
Our School community has been busy completing the AWE (Assessing Wellbeing in Education) surveys. Having a tool to track wellbeing over time encourages us all to be intentional about looking after ourselves. In our fast-paced lives, it can be easy to let wellbeing slip down the list of priorities. Many pupils have been setting small, achievable goals such as improving their sleep routines, staying hydrated and spending less time on their phones when with family or friends. We have discussed how these small, consistent habits can make a big difference to our overall wellbeing.
On Wednesday, a number of our Lower Sixth pupils completed the first part of their Level 1 Mental Health First Aid Training. This valuable training equips them with practical strategies to support their own mental health, while also exploring how to break the stigma surrounding mental illness. I am so proud of the many pupils who have chosen to join our Wellbeing Ambassador team, showing great commitment to supporting others in our School community.
As our Fifth Form pupils prepare for their upcoming mock examinations, I would like to remind you of the excellent support materials available through the Teen Tips Wellbeing Hub. Access to this hub is free of charge as part of our School’s subscription and it offers a range of helpful resources.
