Mental Health Week 2020

Next week, Sutton Valence School presents Mental Health Week. Our theme for the week will be ‘Just a Few Words’, inspired by a campaign that encourages you to reach out to elderly people in a bid to fight loneliness and brighten up someone’s day. We also continue our campaign ‘Have you ten minutes?’ – a subliminal message that someone needs to talk. 

There will be a number of student challenges throughout the week to promote better wellbeing and numerous speakers at the School. Friday will also be Mufti Day to raise money for the Sam West Foundation, with a donation of £2 (or more if so inclined) per pupil to wear home clothes or tracksuits. Pupils will wear School uniform if they do not wish to donate.
