Thomas G, our Head Boy for Summer Term, has been filling us in on what he has been doing at home.

Thomas said, “I know staying at home can be a bit boring, but what a lot of people don’t know about me is that I’m quite into magic and I have been practising it throughout the holidays. Getting the trick right first time is quite hard and to be honest, I get it wrong quite often.

I am learning to not get frustrated and try and try again until I get it right! However, practice makes perfect and during this period of lockdown, we have got all the time in the world.

I’ve been watching a man on YouTube called Evan Era who explains how to do the tricks and most of them just require ordinary household objects. I can now make cards levitate and coins teleport. All you need is your mind and a little bit of imagination and concentration. And remember it’s all about perspective.”
