An annual end of term tradition, this year’s whole School Baton Race was won by Holdgate for Seniors, Founder’s for Inters and Lambe’s for the Juniors. Over Half Term, there were a lot of successes within the SVPS Equestrian community.
Charlotte L (Year 6) came sixth in the 60 centimetre Show jumping which qualifies her for South East Regional Grass Roots Final on 4th December. Well done on your result over Half Term and good luck for the Regional Finals in December.
Isla D (Year 6) was part of a team that came first in 70 centimetre Show jumping over half term and Amelia P (Year 5) came fifth in the 80 centimetre Show Jumping, helping her team come second in the class, the rest of the team were made up of our riders from the Senior School.
Amelia also competed over half term in the National Championships in Dressage, Show Jumping and Jumping with Style which is so amazing to qualify for three disciplines individually at the age of only nine.
Well done to all three of you, it is really great that we have made it to the Grass Roosts Regional Finals and the National Championships this year. It is also great that we now have several members of SVPS now taking places in teams with Senior School pupils.
