George S in the Lower Sixth had a busy and successful summer with both his show jumping horse and his mounted games pony following the completion of his GCSEs.

In August he represented Kent at the British Show jumping Academy Championships in Stoneleigh, which proved excellent preparation for the NSEA Qualifying Show at Hickstead the following week.

In mounted games George was part of the winning team at both the Royal Norfolk Show and the Royal Berkshire Polo Festival, riding as part of an Open team rather than his usual U18 side. He also finished as Reserve Champion in the Pony Club Mounted Games Pairs Championships, placing second out of 52 pairs, having been one of more than 200 pairs who attempted to qualify.

To round off the summer, George was selected to compete in the London leg of the Global Champions Arabian Tour at the Royal Chelsea Hospital, where his team showcased the very best of mounted games in the UK to a global audience.
