Last week a determined team of SVS runners travelled to Mote Park to compete in the district cross-country event. We were delighted to take a strong squad across the age groups with five Junior Girls, four Junior Boys, six Year 8/9 Boys, two Year 8/9 Girls and four Year 10 Girls. Every pupil represented the School superbly, showing grit, teamwork and real competitive spirit.

Across all categories the performances were outstanding. Eight SVS runners finished within the top ten, earning their place in the next round of the competition. This was a fantastic achievement for the individuals involved and for the School as a whole!
