We are thrilled to celebrate outstanding GCSE results for 2025 building on the success of last week’s A Level achievements.
This year, over half of the GCSE grades awarded were at levels 9, 8 or 7 (equivalent to A*-A), reflecting the excellent achievement of many of the cohort.
Beyond these impressive results however, the School is particularly proud of the significant ‘value added’ progress, which highlights the remarkable improvement students make when they study here. This success is a testament to the their dedication, the exceptional teaching and support from our staff and the guidance from home.
Headmaster James Thomas expressed his pride, stating:
“Following the excellent A Level results at Sutton Valence School last week, I am delighted to announce an equally impressive set of GCSE results for last year’s Fifth Form (Year 11) students. Across a broad range of subjects, students have secured superb outcomes. They worked very hard indeed and had wonderful support from their teachers and families. These results provide a strong foundation as they step into Sixth Form life and beyond and we congratulate them”.
