Ironbridge Trip

Last week, Year 5 enjoyed a memorable four-day residential trip to Ironbridge, immersing themselves in the history of the Industrial Revolution. With beautiful weather and a full schedule, the children explored key sites including the iconic Iron Bridge, Blists Hill Victorian Town, Jackfield Tile Museum and Enginuity. They followed history trails along the River Severn and gained hands-on experience that brought their learning to life.

The trip laid a strong foundation for our upcoming topic on the Industrial Revolution. It has really helped the children understand how the past shapes the present. They will now build on this fantastic experience in the classroom over the coming weeks.
