The Head of Corps is the most senior Cadet rank in the Sutton Valence School CCF. They are responsible for organising all three sections: the Navy, Army, and RAF. On Wednesday, the Headmaster, Mr Thomas, joined us on parade to promote Angus B (Lower Sixth) to the rank of RSM and the position of Head of Corps. In time honoured tradition, the symbol of the Head of Corps, the pace stick, is passed on by the outgoing Head of Corps, RSM Filipp R (Upper Sixth), who passed on his congratulations and some words of wisdom for his successor.

The other senior positions for next year were announced as:

We also took the opportunity to thank all the Upper Sixth NCOs for their dedication and service as it was their final parade.
