Today, we are thrilled to launch SVS Foundation Connect, a new website for Old Suttonians and the wider SVS Foundation community, including parents and past-parents. As Sutton Valence School approaches its 450th anniversary celebrations in 2026, this new website will be the central hub for all information, news and events for the OS and SVS Foundation community. In the past, our information has been spread between various different websites and databases, but this new site allows everything to be in one simple, easy-to-access site which has been designed specifically for the SVS community. Please do take a look around and sign up for this exciting new development in the School’s engagement with its alumni and parents.

Through SVS Foundation Connect, you will be able to: Update your contact details, create a profile and choose your communications preferences (please note that current parents should still inform the School Secretaries of any changes to contact details or communications preferences); Catch up with the latest news about the School and the Old Suttonians network; Connect directly with friends and staff from your time at SVS or join groups to find other community members working in similar industries or sharing similar interests; Register and book for OS and School events quickly and easily; Share or seek guidance and support to help you progress your career; Browse our gallery of photos from OS events; Read current publications and look back at a vast archive of previous editions; Support The 1576 Fund and the newly created OS Benevolent Fund.

Over the course of the next few months, we will be inviting other members of the SVS Foundation community to join the website and there are also plans to develop the services we offer through the portal over the course of 2021. To encourage you to register your profile on the new site, we are offering the chance to win a £150 Amazon voucher. The lucky winner will be selected at random from everyone who has registered and completed their profile, including uploading a photo, by midday on Monday 1st February 2021 – don’t delay!

Community remains such a fundamental part of life at SVS and the OS community is a prominent part of that.
