An annual end of term tradition, this year’s whole School Baton Race was won by Holdgate for Seniors, Founder’s for Inters and Lambe’s for the Juniors. This week, the Lower Sixth CCF Army cadets took advantage of the sunny weather and taught the Third Form Army cadets how to move with and without a rifle, as part of their fieldcraft training.
After learning when is the appropriate time to use each movement, the younger cadets took part in a competitive relay demonstrating their new knowledge of the monkey run, leopard crawl and roll whilst carrying a rifle.
