Careers & Futures
The Careers and Futures programme in the Sixth Form prepares pupils for the wide range of opportunities open to them after School. It supports pupils as they explore university courses, apprenticeships, international study, work experience and early employment, helping them identify pathways that reflect their ambitions and interests. The focus is on world readiness: giving pupils the knowledge, awareness and practical skills they need to make informed decisions with clarity.
In a fast-changing and increasingly competitive world, we encourage pupils to recognise what makes them distinctive, develop confidence in their abilities and learn how to articulate their strengths effectively. Just as importantly, they are encouraged to approach new opportunities with curiosity, adaptability and a willingness to embrace challenge, building the resilience and self-belief needed to thrive in a range of future pathways.
The programme combines individual advice, structured workshops, digital tools and insight from universities and professionals, providing pupils with a clear understanding of the options available to them and the steps required to achieve their goals.
