Sandra joined the School in 2024 as Head of the Pre‑Prep, having previously led the Special Educational Needs provision at Sevenoaks Prep School and RGS Prep, Guildford, along with leadership experience at The Study School, New Malden. She is passionate about education and takes a research‑led approach, combining innovative practice with a strong appreciation of tradition. Originally from France, Sandra has also lived and worked in the videogames industry in Spain before moving to the UK to complete her teaching degree. She is an ISI Inspector, and her daughter, Jasmine, attends the School. Outside of school, Sandra can often be found with a book in hand, attempting to complete what are usually overly ambitious reading challenges on Goodreads – with the firm belief that picture books absolutely count. She enjoys travelling to keep her language skills sharp, always fitting in at least one Spanish‑speaking country each year and her favourite Pokemon is Eevee.
Welcome to Nursery
Set within beautiful rural surroundings our Nursery gives young children the space to explore play and grow. Indoors they enjoy bright, well-equipped classrooms. Outdoors they discover nature through gardens, meadows, woodland spaces and opportunities for adventure.
Meet The Team
At the heart of our Nursery is a team of caring early years specialists who bring warmth, creativity and expertise to every day. By getting to know each child and family, they ensure every little learner feels supported, understood and inspired.
Our Nursery Manager and Pre-School Lead guide the team, using their experience in early childhood development to create a nurturing environment where learning is playful, purposeful and perfectly paced for each child.
Els holds a degree in Early Years Education and has worked in the education and early years sector for almost ten years. She is passionate about helping children thrive in her care, supporting them to develop confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning. She believes that every child deserves the guidance and encouragement needed to reach their full potential and takes great pride in creating a happy, nurturing environment where children can flourish.
Outside of work, she enjoys musical theatre and spending time with family and friends. Her favourite food is pasta, her favourite colour is pink, and autumn is her favourite season. She has a particular fondness for elephants and enjoys any opportunity to combine her love of creativity and performance through her interest in musical theatre.
