Photography Field Day in Hastings
A group of 12 Fourth Form and Fifth Form photography students visited Hastings for Field Day to carry out a series of photographic shoots for their coursework. During the day, students explored a variety of locations, including the ruins of Hastings Castle and the area beneath Hastings Pier, before walking through the historic Fishing Quarter in the Old Town for a final shoot after lunch on the beachfront.
The visit provided students with the opportunity to experiment with a range of photographic techniques while developing their own individual ideas and themes within these diverse settings. The excellent weather helped create ideal conditions for photography, and students produced a wide range of successful images throughout the day.
Overall, the trip was highly enjoyable and provided a valuable opportunity for students to develop their practical photography skills in a real-world environment.
