Field Day DT Workshop
As part of Field Day, pupils took part in an engaging Design and Technology workshop, developing their practical skills while learning to use a range of workshop tools and equipment safely and confidently.
Throughout the day, pupils designed and made their own wooden drink coasters, complete with an integrated bottle opener. The project encouraged creativity, problem-solving and attention to detail, while providing valuable hands-on experience in a workshop environment.
It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm and engagement from the pupils, who were delighted to take home their finished products. The high-quality coasters are both practical and attractive, serving as a lasting reminder of a rewarding and enjoyable day of designing and making.
