Year 5 Ironbridge Trip

13 Mar 26

Last week, Year 5 travelled to Ironbridge Gorge for their residential visit, bringing their learning about the Industrial Revolution to life.

Highlights included a visit to the Black Country Living Museum, where pupils explored historic buildings, spoke to costumed interpreters and watched a traditional chain‑making demonstration. At Jackfield Tile Museum, they also created their own designs during a tile‑making workshop, and enjoyed exploring the history of Wenlock Priory.

It was an enjoyable and enriching trip that brought classroom learning to life.
