Year 4 Fireworks Workshop
On Thursday, Year 4 pupils visited the Senior School for a fireworks workshop, taking advantage of the unique opportunities available within our through-school community. Working in the Senior School laboratories, pupils explored how different metal ions produce distinctive flame colours and observed demonstrations examining the science behind light, energy transfer and combustion. The session strengthened pupils’ scientific enquiry skills and provided an enjoyable opportunity to experience the specialist facilities and learning environment of the Senior School.
