A Taste of France for Our Boarders
On Tuesday, our boarders were treated to a special French-themed evening menu, enjoying a selection of dishes inspired by classic French cuisine.
The menu featured traditional favourites including French onion soup, entrecôte au poivre, chicken with redcurrant sauce and pommes boulangère, followed by crème brûlée or raspberry tart for dessert.
The evening also offered a nod to the history of French cuisine and the influence of celebrated chef Georges Auguste Escoffier, who played an important role in shaping modern French cooking and the organisation of professional kitchens.
It was a wonderful opportunity for our boarders to enjoy something a little different and experience a taste of France without leaving school!
