A Level Art Trip to London
On Thursday, our Sixth Form A Level Art students visited London for a highly successful and enriching day of artistic exploration. The group took part in a bespoke Street Art Tour of Shoreditch, led by renowned street art critic and journalist Dave Stuart of Shoreditch Street Art Tours, where students gained first-hand insight into contemporary street art and urban culture.
The visit also included time at the Tate Modern, allowing students to engage with a range of significant artworks and exhibitions, including the work of Ana Mendieta. Throughout the day, students gathered valuable research, photographs, and source material to support their A Level coursework and personal investigations. The trip was an extremely worthwhile experience, providing inspiration, contextual understanding, and opportunities to develop creative practice beyond the classroom.
