Last week, Year 6 travelled to France for their residential trip. A highlight of the week was a visit to a local boulangerie, where the children made their own bread and enjoyed it later with dinner. They also visited the beach and a local market and spent time at a goat farm, where they helped milk a goat and tasted cheese at different stages. In the evenings, they had a disco and a themed night where they dressed up and even tried snails!
It was a great trip, with good weather throughout and the children made the most of the experience while practising their French in a real setting.
