SVS Foundation Connected
There are many ways to stay connect with the SVS Foundation. Whether you are an Old Suttonian, a current or past parent, or simply a friend of the School, the Foundation offers a range of printed and digital resources to allow you to keep up to date with all things SVS. With so much happening at the School and within its community, we would encourage you to use the following communication channels.
SOCIAL MEDIA
The SVS Foundation has a number of social media channels for you to follow. For Old Suttonians, we have dedicated Facebook and LinkedIn groups, which provide general content, as well as numerous other sport-specific groups on Facebook. In addition, we would encourage Old Suttonians and all other members of the Foundation to sign up to our stand-alone social and professional network - SVS Foundation Connect. This platform includes elements of Facebook and LinkedIn, but as a private network available to the School's community only. For more detailed information, please see our Social Media page.
THE SUTTONIAN
For those who prefer to receive news in printed form, please refer to The Suttonian page. The Suttonian is the School's magazine, which is printed in December each year, covering news from the School and the wider SVS Foundation community from the previous academic year. The publication is distributed by post to all current parents and Old Suttonians, unless they have stated they would prefer the magazine in digital format, in which case a PDF will be sent by email. As part of the SVS Foundation, past parents can request inclusion on the magazine's mailing list.
DIGITAL ARCHIVE
As a magazine, The Suttonian dates back to the latter part of the Nineteenth century and, as such, its existence is invaluable in documenting the history of the School. As part of the SVS Foundation Archives, we are looking to digitise the magazine's back-catalogue, providing a valuable insight into SVS in years gone-by. This is a slow process, but there are already a number of editions available to view through our Digital Archive. As well as historical content, please use the archive as a means of viewing copies of our more recent publications including The Old Suttonian, the OS Newsletter and Sutton Views.
