Last Friday saw pupils, parents and staff gather at our fantastic all-weather track in the blazing June sunshine.
Track and field events were hotly contested in which was, without doubt, the most competitive Sports Day on record, and as a result, several School records were broken.
- Oscar Vas – Intermediate Boys 100m record – 11.09
- Elizabeth Fraser – Senior Girls High Jump record – 1.33m
- Alexandra Sacker – Senior Girls Javelin record – 26.95m
- Maisie Rixon – Senior Girls Shot Putt record – 9.17m
- Brandon Jackson – Senior Boys 100m record – 10.83
- Tom Gray – Senior Boys 800m record – 2.12
- Holdgate Senior Girls - 4 x 100m relay record
Overall winners on the day were Holdgate House, with the below individual awards going to athletes who displayed the SVS sport core values of Discipline, Endeavour and Excellence throughout all events they participated in.
