Running Rings around King's

07 June 2019

On Thursday, we hosted our annual Athletics meet against the King's School, Canterbury for the Third and Fourth Form boys and girls. The afternoon was a great success, with our girls scoring a total of 114 points compared to King’s score of 144 and our boy’s scoring 164 points, with King’s scoring 112.

These scores meant that we came away overall victors, with a total score of 278 beating King’s 256.

Special mention must go to Tom Barton who won both the shot put and the 300m and congratulations to Lulu Pankhurst, whose winning throw of 22.9m broke the School javelin record for Intermediate Girls.
