Selecting the right school for your child is a very big decision. At Sutton Valence School, we pride ourselves on our ability to understand and respond to the needs of every pupil. The information on this website should give you some understanding of what kind of opportunities are available at the School and the expectations we have of our pupils.  We hope that you and your child will want to come and visit us to see for yourselves what a unique learning community we are.

Coronavirus Update

The Admissions Team will continue to accept new pupil registrations and respond to queries throughout the duration of the Coronavirus restrictions. If you wish to register your child for the School, please print out the registration form below, complete it and email it to Mrs Kathy Webster, Admissions Officer.

If you have any queries about places for all year dates of entry, please email Mrs Webster who will respond as quickly as possible.

Visits and Tours

We had hoped to be able to bring you full Open Mornings on Saturday 3rd October and Saturday 14th November, but sadly due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, we are unable to do so.

Instead we will be offering Virtual Open Days on Saturday 14th November and Saturday 5th December at 12.30pm. For more information and to register your interest in attending a Virtual open Day, please visit our Open Days page.

We have already received a very large number of registrations from families wishing to attend our Open Days this term and consequently the events scheduled for 17th October and 14th November are now fully booked.

Our next available Open Event will be Saturday 5th December at 12.30pm. Please visit our Open Days page to register your interest.

In addition to this term's virtual Open Events, we would like to invite individual families to visit the School to meet Mr Grindlay, Headmaster, and have a tour of the site with one of our prefects. A meeting with the Headmaster is an integral part of our admissions process for all potential new pupils.

Please contact Mrs Kathy Webster, Admissions Officer, to arrange an appointment.

Our current Admissions forms are available to download from the links below. If you have any questions about completing these forms, please do not hesitate to get in touch with our Admissions team.

School Literature and Information

We have created a virtual library for all of the information that you may need. The SVS Document Library allows you to view and download all of the relevant forms for the admissions process. For ease, here are some of the most frequently requested:

Paper versions of the forms and booklets are still available, upon request. To do so, please contact Kathy Webster, Admissions Officer.
