Admissions

Selecting the right school for your child is a very big decision. At Sutton Valence School, we pride ourselves on our ability to understand and respond to the needs of every pupil. The information on this website should give you some understanding of what kind of opportunities are available at the School and the expectations we have of our pupils.  We hope that you and your child will want to come and visit us to see for yourselves what a unique learning community we are.

Coronavirus Update

The Admissions Team will continue to accept new pupil registrations and respond to queries throughout the duration of the Coronavirus restrictions. If you wish to register your child for the School, please print out the registration form below, complete it and email it to Mrs Kathy Webster, Admissions Officer.

If you have any queries about places for all year dates of entry, please email Mrs Webster who will respond as quickly as possible.

Visits and Tours

We anticipate being able to bring you full Open Mornings during the Michaelmas Term 2021, but sadly due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, we will be operating Virtual Open Days during the Lent Term 2021.

We will not be running a Virtual Open Day during the Summer Term, but instead will be offering individual family tours with one of our Prefects. These tours will only visit the exterior areas of the School until at least mid-May in line with Government Covid restrictions. For more information and to register your interest in having a tour of the School, please contact admissions@svs.org.uk.

Alternatively, you may register your interest in attending a full Open Morning during the Michaelmas Term by visiting our Open Days page. Our next event will take place on Saturday 2nd October 2021.

In addition to this term's virtual Open Events, we would like to invite individual families to meet Mr Grindlay, Headmaster, via Zoom. A meeting with the Headmaster is an integral part of our admissions process for all potential new pupils.

Please contact Mrs Kathy Webster, Admissions Officer, to arrange an appointment.
