Over the years, sport has played a prominent part in maintaining a competitive connection between Old Suttonians and the School. As that connection has grown so has the diversity in the sporting offering available to Old Suttonians. Today we offer a range of fixtures throughout the year from the long-standing Cricket and Hockey matches to the newly established Shooting and Football groups.

The longest-standing of all Old Suttonian sports is Cricket, with the ever-popular Cricket Week in existence since 1923. Played annually ever since (excluding the war years) the week allows Old Suttonians to play fixtures against a number of local teams and alumni associations. Despite its rich history, the OS Cricket Week is relatively modern in comparison to the traditional Old Suttonians versus School Cricket match which dates as far back as the 1870s. Traditionally hosted on Upper during May or June, the fixture now sees the two teams compete for the Bunker Cup, awarded in honour of the late David Bunker (1954 M).

The 2019 calendar of fixtures will be released in mid-March, together with information on how to get involved. In advance of that, if you would like any additional information on Old Suttonian Cricket please contact any of the OS Cricket Managers listed at the bottom of the page or register your interest through the OS Cricket Facebook Group.
