The School gardens have welcomed spring with yellow daffodils, like rays of sunshine, waving their heads in greeting. Form 3C has welcomed the opportunity to venture outdoors and draw the daffodils. Using wax crayons to observe and capture the form and colours of the daffodils, they created individual compositions that reflect the vibrancy of spring. Like true impressionists, they drew on the spot, seizing the moment to create art that embraced the mood and atmosphere. Returning indoors, they developed their wax resist techniques by applying watercolour washes to their drawings. Spring has definitely sprung and their classroom is in bloom with daffodil masterpieces!
