England Women's European Hockey Squad call-up

Congratulations to Susannah Townsend who, it was announced today, is included in the squad of 18 for the upcoming EuroHockey Nations Championships in Monchengladbach.

Susannah joined the senior squad’s centralised training programme in January having previously played in the England Hockey National Age Group Squads.  She was a member of the Under 21 women’s squad that claimed a best ever fourth place finish at the 2009 Junior World Cup in Boston.  With two senior international appearances to her name, the EuroHockey Nations Championships will be Susannah's first senior international tournament.
