Bursary Applications

The provision of bursaries widens educational opportunity to children from a greater range of backgrounds, which enriches our community.  As part of the legacy that our founder, William Lambe, worked so hard to achieve, we continue to value the importance of being inclusive and accessible to deserving children in the local area and beyond.

Bursary Information

Bursaries are awarded according to financial need at the discretion of the Scholarship and Bursaries Committee, and are reviewed annually.

In addition to the School's standard bursary programme, applicants to the Sixth Form are able to apply for The Blyth Bursary, which was established through a generous legacy from an Old Suttonian family. This seeks to support a local, talented child whose family’s financial circumstances would, under normal circumstances, preclude them from considering an education at Sutton Valence School; more information about this particular bursary can be found here

For further information and to obtain the necessary application forms, please contact the Bursar on 01622 845201.
