Belonging to and being part of a community is a key part of life in Pre-Prep and throughout the School.
The transition from Pre-School, whether it is from the local or wider area, is a crucial time and a period of adjustment for our young pupils. We will always try and visit your child in their place of learning and play as it enables us to get to know your child and of course your child can get to know us. Our staff will find out the most important things about your child, their interests; do they like cars, outside time, sand and water! This then helps us with their first day since they have already got to know their class teacher in their previous familiar environment, we of course will have ensured that their favourite things are out on the all-important first day.
Once your child has settled into their new school day and routine, things start to get busier both for the pupils and for parents too. There is our weekly assembly that you can attend, or join us and help out on our school trips! This year our Year One parents joined classes to share their memories of favourite toys that they had when growing up. However the most popular day on the school calendar is Grandparents' Day, a wonderful opportunity for all the pupils to take their Grandma and Grandad around the School.
